Fusion Recruiters, in partnership with their client Dura-Line, is in search of an experienced industrial or manufacturing EHSS Manager to join Dura-Line’s team in Gainesville, TX. This job is on-site.
As the EHSS Manager, you will work with and through the plant management team to implement environmental, health, and safety requirements. You will report to the Plant Manager and have the opportunity to elevate the plant site safety performance by improving and fostering a safety culture .
What You Will Do:
EHS Leadership and Culture Development: Drive a proactive safety and environmental culture by engaging employees, influencing leadership, and implementing risk-based initiatives to achieve zero harm. Lead and drive EHSS initiatives and processes at the site to reduce risk, drive safe and planet-friendly behaviors and practices
Compliance and Program Excellence: Ensure regulatory compliance and enhance EHS programs through inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives that address workplace risks and align with corporate standards.
Performance and Incident Management: Monitor key performance metrics (e.G., TTIR, LTIR), lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and drive strategies for sustainable EHS improvements.
What You Will Bring:
Educational Background & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields preferred;ASP/CSP certification and ISO (14000, 9000, 45000) experience desired.
EHS Expertise: 5+ years in industrial or manufacturing environments with strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, SWPPP, EPCRA, and regulatory compliance, including experience in audits, inspections, reporting, and sustainability programs.
Skills & Competencies: Proficient in root cause analysis, risk assessments, training development, regulatory reporting (OSHA 300, Tier II), and process improvement;strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
