We’re excited to support a company recognized for its commitment to innovation and long-standing leadership in the aerospace and motion-control manufacturing space in their search for a strategic, results-driven Business Finance Manager to join their onsite team in Southeastern Wisconsin.
As the Business Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading financial performance and operational support for a critical aerospace and defense business unit. You’ll report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will have the opportunity to influence organizational growth, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and drive data-informed decision-making across the business.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the business unit, partnering closely with operational leadership
- Serve as the financial leader for the business unit, providing insights and guidance to improve performance
- Analyze cost, margin, and pricing to support strategic decision-making and profitability improvements
- Perform variance analysis and cost accounting activities to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities
- Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations for both internal and corporate stakeholders
- Drive KPI reviews and partner cross-functionally to develop and execute action plans
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements, including audit support (inventory, customer, and government)
- Evaluate capital investment opportunities and provide financial return analysis and recommendations
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) with 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting
- Strong background in cost accounting, financial reporting, and variance analysis within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GAAP and SOX, with experience supporting a publicly traded organization
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Hyperion experience preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
