We’re excited to support a company recognized for its people-first culture, commitment to safety and innovation, and global impact in their search for a strategic Global Indirect Procurement Category Manager to join their team (onsite Monday–Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays) in Milwaukee, WI.

As the Global Indirect Category Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving category sourcing excellence, managing supplier relationships, and aligning procurement strategy with organizational goals across key indirect spend categories. You’ll report to the Procurement Leadership Team and will have the opportunity to influence global sourcing outcomes, shape strategic supplier partnerships, and deliver measurable value across the business.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead development and execution of category sourcing strategies for assigned indirect spend areas (IT, professional services, marketing, facilities, travel, events, MRO, etc.).
• Conduct spend analysis and market benchmarking to drive total cost ownership reductions and innovation.
• Drive global stakeholder engagement and participate in strategic sourcing initiatives across regions.
• Manage full strategic sourcing lifecycle from RFP planning to supplier negotiations, contract execution, and performance tracking.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships, establish performance KPIs, and champion continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal business units to align procurement with business need forecasts, budgets and service expectations.
• Assess and manage supplier risk, compliance, and contract quality.
• Monitor and report on cost savings, avoidance, and value delivery tied to procurement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
• 6+ years of strategic sourcing experience in global/matrix organizations with a strong focus on indirect spend categories.
• Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a strategic mindset and hands-on execution ability.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g., Oracle, Concur) and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-have: experience managing Travel, Events, and Credit/Finance categories.
